Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and entrepreneur. The most famous part she played was as Emily Fields from the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. After excelling at dance and modeling, she decided to try acting and began taking acting classes in Toronto. After getting a few commercials and guest roles in the television seriesMitchell got her big break when she was commissioned in the role of Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. The critics as well as her fans were impressed with her acting. The career in film began with the film Dreamland, followed by Mother's Day, and The Possession of Hannah Grace. In the"You," a psychological thriller, and it earned the attention of a wider audience. As well as acting, she's stepped into the world of writing. Together with Michaela Blayne, she co-wrote an adult novel called Bliss. Her parents are Mark Mitchell (born April 10, 1988) and Precious Garcia, brought her up within Ontario Canada. The mother of Shay Mitchell is Filipina is her parent. While her father is Irish and Scottish. The cousin of Mitchell's has the name of Lea Salonga who is a well-known musical theater singer and actress. Mitchell was a student at Rockridge Secondary school before she moved onto West Vancouver Secondary. At the end of her teenage years she was modeling for various companies throughout the globe. After a trip across the globe to Barcelona, Bangkok and Hong Kong she went back to Toronto to study acting.
