Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Her budget was supplemented with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox felt that her skills aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit prior to New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. From 1977 until 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. In both commercial terms and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul songs. In addition in May 2019 Lennox released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. is the companion album of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called"Now, I'll let You go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. At the end of the 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career with her debut album Diva in 1992. This was the source of many hit songs like Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio features covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
